Easyraid Storage Solutions Overview Easyraid Storage Solutions Overview
Direct Attached Storage & Nas Solutions

Easyraid storage are designed for expanding your storage needs in servers in a direct attached way. The use is meant to supply extra volume for one or two servers only. They are not designed as a SAN solution, but as a dedicated storage solution on top of your infrastructure. It's an ideal and cost efficient solution for CCTV recordings, backup archive, .... Because of their industrial design they are longlife cycle supported and don't need a lot of attention by the administrator.

High Performance

easyRAID® Disk-Arrays are the entrance into RAID-technology at a reasonable price. Nevertheless, the RAID-Systems offer uncompromising features regarding security and performance.

Using an Ultra320 SCSI, Fibre Channel or iSCSI Host-Interface, easyRAID Systems allow a data transfer rate up to 400MB/sec. By using the internal harddisks in a parallel way, there are higher transfer rates possible than those of the single drives - and even with a higher security. As a side effect of this, the total capacity can be higher than the capacity of the single drives.

Simple Installation

All easyRAID Systems are O/S independent and are installed like one big SCSI- (or Fibre Channel-) Harddisk. Important features of the Systems are drive-fail-detection, hot-swapping, background-rebuilding after drive-failure and bad-sector-reassignment.

Simple Managed

Easyraid has it's own webmanagement system to look after any errors coming out of your system. It will report this via SNMP or E-mail to the administrator. this WebGui is always included at no extra cost.

High Data Security
If a drives fails in a RAID-Level 1-, 3-, 5- or 6- Configuration, the lost data will be regenerated by the array-controller during operation. If there exists a "Hot-Spare"-Drive the process of regeneration will be started automatically on the new harddisk (without "Hot-Spare"-Drive after changing the failed drive). After this, the original failure safety is re-established. Critical components like power supplies and fans are redundant and could also be changed during operation.
